SASMO is a Math Olympiad contest that stretches not only the brightest students but is aimed at instilling confidence for all students.
The contest is designed in a way to make every student love Math again. Our Math Olympiad Contest fits nicely into the school curriculum with a high focus on non routine problem sums – preparing for our contests helps students prepare for the PSLE.
It is an internationally recognized programme – in countries such as USA, Australia, New Zealand, India, Columbia, Iceland and many other countries around the globe.
It is a competition which is simple to run – held in your own school.
Individual Results are released for students and the ranking system is suitable for Direct School Admission (DSA) submission.
Individual and Team recognition and awards are up for grabs in the aspiration to be the best in Singapore.
Over 200 000 students and 5 000 teams worldwide joined in 2011 and the journey has seen the numbers escalate each year since 2006, giving Singapore a contest to look forward to.
Workshops are available to help students prepare both at our centre as well as workshops organized at the request of schools. |
